A lot of the Stadium Arcadium sounds were credited to the Doepfer A-100. I believe that taking that synth on tour would be impossible, even though John Frusciante used it on a few solo shows in 2003 and 2004. I want to know how did you guys decide to use the Moogerfooger pedals to emulate those sounds live?

Using the Moogerfoogers was an idea John came up with. To be honest, that modular synth was a nightmare to work with. John had a lot of fun with it. But I couldn't stand it. The patch cables were cheap, and constantly failing. And the Moogerfoogers weren't all that road worthy either. They broke down quite regularly. I recently saw some of that stuff at the NAMM show. Just shook my head and kept walkin. Lol."
