Dave Mail 37: Dave Lee's favourite equipment

Dave, being such a highly regarded tech and having accumulated so many experiences from many different artists, what would you say are your favourite equipments? Imagine you're in your own band, being the guitar player and having all the equipmente you wanted.

Dave Lee: "This may be surprise to some people, but I'm not a guitar player. I used to (in the 80's) play bass. I can play a few easy songs on guitar, to get through line checks. But that's about it.

I was an average bass player. My ultimate bass rig would be the rig I had in the 80's. 2 Ampeg SVT's, B.C. Rich Eagle bass (fretless) koa wood, a Rickenbacker 4003 (blue), a Kramer XL8 (8 string) bass. All of which was stolen from my house in 1985. I really like the Rickenbacker "Chris Squire" model they came out with. But I don't see myself buying one."
