Recently, Dave Rat announced he will not be working with the Chili Peppers anymore - his last show with the band will be in Minneapolis in january 22. Rat is well known by the band fans because of his blog, where he documents the band's day to day while touring - including a few stories, photos and videos about you. He also talks about the equipments he uses and produce (which is his focus now). At any moment did you also use this or any other tools to keep in contact with fans? If so, could you tell us? And I take this opportunity to say "thank you" for keeping in touch with JFeffects, every "Dave Mail" is an amazing discovery, thank you so much for it!
Dave Lee: "Dave Rat is a very fun guy to be on the road with. He's always planning some kind of adventure. He surely lives life to the fullest. I was surprised to hear he was leaving.
I participated a little in Dave's blogging. But I never really did much to keep in touch with the fans. John had so many very dedicated fans it would be overwhelming to keep in touch with them. This is really the first I've really done something like this. But it's fun. It brings back some great (and not so great) memories.
