Dave Mail 28: "Especially in Michigan" guitar solo by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez

The album Stadium Arcadium had Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's participation, playing the guitar solo in "Especially in Michigan". Did he use John's equipment or did he brought his own gear to the studio?

Dave Lee: "If I remember correctly, that was recorded late one night at John's house. Probably on one of John's amps (I don't remember Omar bringing any amps to John's house. I love Omar. Really, really, funny guy. He's awesome. The Mars Volta guys are all really cool."
