Was the tremolo bridge on John's Stratocasters floating or pressed tight to the body? Or any other option?
Dave Lee: "The tremolo was set up with about 1/16th of an inch up in the back (leaning toward the neck). So he could pull up a little bit if he wanted."
Was the '62 Fender Stratocaster's - or any other one - neck ever replaced? A lot of the time these vintage guitars need repairing, especially when they're used every night at different types of climates around the world.
Dave Lee: "I don't think so. The only neck we ever replaced that I remember was the fretless (glass fingerboard) neck we put on an early 60's hardtail Strat that I don't think we ever took on the road."

Thank you so much for asking about the floating/decked bridge, it helped me a lot now that I know this. I figured it was floating a bit before, because in the Chorzow End Jam he pulls up some notes, really good stuff.
