Dave Mail 24: Was the Gretsch White Falcon being spared?

On Stadium Arcadium tour - and even during the album recording - Frusciante seemed to be saving his '58 Gretsch White Falcon. Is there any particular reason for it?

Dave Lee: "I don't remember him substituting another guitar for the Falcon (on the songs that he used the Falcon). It may have happened. But not that I remember. We may have tried another guitar for feedback reasons. The hollowbody Falcon did tend to feedback easily."
