Dave Mail 70: Something that could've simplified Dave Lee's work

John used dozens of pedals side by side to each other. We all know that a guitarist who uses that amount of pedals, and the way he used them, causes a lot of trouble to his guitar tech. At any moment, did you suggest John to use hacks or loops (pedal switchers), such as the Voodoo Lab Ground Control or the Carl Martin Octa-Switch to optimize and simplify the use and mounting of his pedalboard?

Dave Lee: "We never did really consider pedal switching systems. It just never came up. It would've taken an entire revamping of his pedal world. Or at least, it seemed it would. At the time, I felt we shouldn't rely on a single system to control everything. Which, with hindsight, probably would've made my life much easier."
